Henleaze Swimming Club have joined the AQUA water body accreditation scheme and fully on board with biosecurity measure to safe guard their beautiful site for another 100 years!!
The Henleaze Swimming Club have added biosecurity signs, taken delivery of invasive species ID guides and information and below can be seen plonking one of our Environment Agency licensed crayfish artificial refuge traps to their site to be checked on a regular basis, ensuring a Rapid Response to any new Invasive non Native Species that hopefully will not arrive!
Henleaze Swimming club are very forward thinking and already have had plans to increase biosecurity and take steps to minimise potential issues that will affect water quality and the enjoyment the lake gives to thousands of members.
