Under the RAPID LIFE project a hardy team from Bristol Zoological Society have been happily trapping away for nearly a year now to trial an invasive signal crayfish control scheme. However, with this work comes an increase risk of spreading the deadly crayfish plague. With this in mind we have to be extra vigilant and use kit either cleaned to the extreme using the Check, Clean & Dry protocols or in many instances kit solely used at this one, invasive ridden site.
